Reports have been floating around the intarwebs for the past few days that Xbox Live is still having issues. Today, however, the status on the Xbox.com Support page has been changed. It seems that the issues may be related to the number of new accounts being created over the past week, as Ripten reports that Microsoft has temporarily suspended the ability to create new Gamertags. This is kind of confirmed by the Xbox Live status message you see to the right. I haven’t tried playing any online games in the past few days, but I have noticed that I can’t stay logged into Live for long periods at a time.

Comment posted December 29, 2007 at 10:30 pm 1I hope they fix it soon as well as the insane amount of time it takes to load the different blades. The xbox with the loading circle will sit there for several minutes. It makes me miss the old dashboard.
