wirelessadapter.jpgBuy.com is selling the Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter for $80, which is $20 off the regular price. If you’ve been looking to pick one of these up, they don’t get much cheaper than this.

I bought the linksys one a year ago for $50 on a best buy special.

I’ve been considering getting one of these, but the price is still so high. I can get another wireless router for as much. While I haven’t tried it myself, I read that you can bypass the need for this adapter and use a router instead. It just involves a light, 10 minute setup. I’m far from an expert on that though, so I’ll not go into detail.
There is still very high demand for it, if eBay is any indicator, with prices well over $50 for a used one.

Wireless connectivity should be included in all future models of the 360. It should have always been included.

Yeah, this annoys me. I think it drives up the overall cost of the Xbox. Don’t the Wii and the PS3 have wi-fi built in? IMO no one should ever buy this adapter, especially since a router is cheaper and better.

People without any technical savvy at all will have no choice but to buy the adapter. Microsoft could have included wifi in the newer 360 models, but considering how well this addon sells, and the additional profit they are making form it, it will never be part and parcel. They could at least include the adapter in Elite bundles.

    Glad I have wired.
Much more reliable, cheaper, and easy to deal with.

You can get it for $70 with Google Checkout. Still too hard of a price to bite on…

I’ve been meaning to get one of these but the prices are just too high for someone like me who doesn’t have the extra spending money. But if I find one on sale for $50 I’ll be willing to fork up the cash! I also agree with the others, theses should have been with the systems when we bought them!
