I received the Xbox Flash newsletter today, and although there wasn’t much in it worth mentioning, I did notice that Crackdown has finally been added to the Platinum Hits collection. A quick check over on Xbox.com also confirms this. The listed price is now $30, which isn’t groundbreaking since sites like Amazon have been selling it at that price for a while now.
I think it’s about time they did this, though. A lot of people mistakenly discredited the game as the “Halo 3 demo with a free Crackdown” and I think it could have benefited from an earlier price drop. Say, before the holidays?

Was kinda short I thought but it was fun leveling up your stats which made you jump higher, stronger, and the likes. So I guess that it’s good the game became Platinum, now maybe more people and play the game with a cheaper price!

They’ve already announced a Crackdown 2 though, haven’t they? Maybe I’ll just wait for that and hope it’s more worthy than it’s predecessor.

They haven’t announced Crackdown 2 yet. I’m sure it’s inevitable, though.

I enjoyed the demo, and I didn’t want to. Now I have to go find a copy for under $20 because I’m cheap. Just goes to show that reviews, negative opinions and poor videos can really put a bad light on what is a very enjoyable game at the core.
