Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Developer Diary 2

Just released is the second developer diary for Rainbow Six Vegas 2. The video details some of the changes and additions to the co-op and multiplayer modes in RSV2. One major disappointment that a lot of people already knew about: Co-op will support only two players. Kind of a bummer since we had four player co-op in the first Rainbow Six Vegas. Seems like a pretty big step back in that regard. Fortunately, they took a tip from the Gears of War play book and co-op will be of the drop-in/drop-out variety. One of the new multiplayer modes, called Demolition, is very reminiscent of Counter Strike and looks like it could be a lot of fun. One thing that doesn’t appear to have been added is a lobby system. When will developers get the hint?

Only 2 player Co-op instead of 4? Agree, kind of a step back. New multiplayer sounds like it could be fun for sure! Anyways I love Developer Diaries, I think more gaming companies should do that with some of their games!

It’s crazy that that game is close to coming out. I liked the first one, but I wish it had a 3rd person view to the game, like in GRAW and Gears of War.
