I guess the cost of the magazine subscription is absorbed by the higher price. A few tips and tricks on a video is nothing special. Not for me anyways. Two of the items have nothing to do with the game at all.
Limited and Collectors editions are sketchy packages sometimes. Soundtracks are the best item to include. Artbooks are fine but are merely curiosities as far as I'm concerned.
I don't want to get off on a tangent, which I'm prone to do when talking about Gamestop, but kudos for not being a GS stooge.

Well for this game the limited edition comes with: Getting Started, The Essentials of Street Skating, Introduction to Ramps, Applying Tricks to Ledges and Rails, Skateboarding Tricks & Tips from Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero III Demo + Unlockable Guitar Hero Character: Judy Nails, One Year Subscription to Transworld SKATEboarding Magazine so It's worth it I guess. But games like Persona 3 was only $50 coming with an artbook and soundtrack which is deff. worth it, same price as the regular version which I've never seen except for once and Gamestop but they tend to do stuff like keeping the pre-order stuff, well at least at the one near me. Also part of the reason why I hardly go there!

You know, I just now noticed it's the Limited Edition of Proving Grounds. Why are there so many games with Limited, Collectors, etc. editions? People are actually paying for them, aren't they? I don't care much for silly artbooks and other nicknacks with my games. I'd like to see more useful content!
I just don't understand why people are paying an extra $10 for a shoddy tin case (FFXII) or similar gimmick...
