   I swear GH3’s price is hard to swallow for someone who’s indifferent to rock music but loves music games i.e. me. Especially when they release one every year. I… must… win…

   I only own GH2, I’ve played GH3 at my friends house, and I recently heard that they have a downloadable music pack of Marilyn Manson and them being my favorite band and all would be ubber sweet to play on the game. Thanks for the link Shafnitz!

   I keep hearing this series is awesome, but I’ve never played it. It’s hard to justify the price tag to the wife who doesn’t understand the whole gaming thing.

   Guitar Hero 2 was phenomenal. I’ve had so much fun playing that game, not only by myself, but with friends and family, many of whom aren’t gamers. Guitar Hero 3 on the other hand, is sort of a step back in my opinion. It’s still a good game, but Neversoft missed vision that Harmonix originally had for the game. I still want 3, but I have a hard time paying $100 for the guitar/game.

   That’s exactly my problem with it. I’m lucky when I have enough to buy a game at normal price (I usually hold out until I’ve read reviews, talked to friends who have or have played the game, and then they are discounted).

   I had a blast with GH1, but the song list of GH2 turned me away from the series. I’ve been uncertain about GH3, but the lineup looks good. Winning a copy for free PLUS the awesome guitar controller (which is pretty much essential to the awesomeness IMO) would get me back into the series for sure!

   I already play Rock Band. I like it way more then the Guitar Hero Games, but that’s just me.

   Agreed GH2 was the best! I didn’t like Rock Band, I got it for Christmas and it the stupid thing broke on me so I took it back and walmart to get another one and that one broke on me too then I finaly said forget it, I’m getting something else. So I preorder Super Smash Bros Brawl and bought Bioshock.
