Several websites (including Microsoft’s own Gamerscore Blog) are reporting that Xbox Live is currently down, preventing people from logging in. I personally have noticed the service going up and down throughout the day. As luck would have it, I got disconnected in the middle of a Lone Wolves match in Halo 3 that I was pwning. Turns out I still had the highest score in the match. But anyway, back to the story. Although people are claiming the service has been down for hours, I’ve been playing most of the day with only a few interruptions here and there. I also have friends that are currently playing games online, so your mileage may vary on this one. If you are fortunate enough to still be playing, to you I say congratulations!

December 21st, 2007
If you’ve been eagerly awaiting the return of Sensible World of Soccer to the Xbox Live Arcade, your wishes have come true. After disappearing for a couple days, it’s back and it’s still 800 points. Maybe I’m the only one who doesn’t care, because apparently a lot of people freaked out when the game was released and didn’t work properly. Anyway, here’s Major Nelson’s original post about the release.

Dark Messiah: Elements Demo on Xbox Live
December 21st, 2007For a game I haven’t really heard much about, all of a sudden there’s a demo. I saw a couple of their teaser videos a while back, but they didn’t really do anything for me. However, I’ll give any game a chance if there’s a free demo.

Wireless Racing Wheel Price Drop – $99
December 20th, 2007
As was reported on Major Nelson’s Blog and Gamerscore Blog, Microsoft just dropped the price of the Wireless Racing Wheel to $99. Seems like a pretty good addition to your 360 accessory arsenal. Amazon is currently sold out of the item, and I haven’t seen the price drop hit any websites yet.
