TimeShift $30 – Amazon Deal of the Day

December 29th, 2007

Amazon’s current Deal of the Day is TimeShift for $30. This is half off the current retail price of $60 and about twice what the game is worth… I kid, I kid! Actually, I’ve only played the single player demo, so I’m not qualified to give an opinion of the full game. It’s Metacritic scores range from 50 to 82 with an average of 70, which isn’t horrible. It’s entirely possible that this is a decent game. If you have played it, let us know what you think in the comments.

WarTech: Senko no Ronde – $10

December 24th, 2007

WarTech: Senko no RondoBuy.com is selling WarTech: Senko no Ronde for $10 with free shipping. Amazon has it for the same price but you won’t get free shipping unless your order is over $25.

I’m not quite sure about this one, but I’d almost say I’d try any game for $10. It almost costs that much to rent one. The game has an average score of 59 over on metacritic, but the actual scores range from 30 to 85. Who knows, this might be the best $10 you spend for your 360 this year. One thing I can say about the game, however: the achievements appear to be lacking any creativity.

Call of Duty 4 – $40

December 14th, 2007

Amazon.com is selling the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty 4 for $40, which is $20 off the regular price. If you’ve been holding off on buying this one because you heard the single player was a little short, now is your chance to snag an excellent game for a good price.
