Bungie has announced today that they have added a Big Team Battle playlist to the ranked matchmaking in Halo 3. You can now play some sweet 8-on-8 action in a handful of different maps and game types. Check out the official announcement for all the deets.

Over on Bungie.net, Bungie’s own Brian Jarrard (Ske7ch) has posted some tips and tricks for using Halo 3′s Forge with the new Foundry map. He details his thought processes throughout the creation of each of his custom maps and really shows the potential that lies within Bungie’s Forge tool. He gives some great insight if you plan on tinkering around in Forge yourself.
