Microsoft and the U.S. Army have launched the third and final installment of Halo 3 training, this time the focus being on Vehicles. (See Sniper School and Heavy Weapons Training.) As before, we are given a Play & Win Sweepstakes to go along with the training. As of this posting, the official U.S. Army Vehicles Play & Win website has yet to be launched, but you can still enter the sweepstakes by downloading the free gamerpic pack (a free theme is available as well) from Xbox LIVE Marketplace. All of this is building up to the Halo 3 Championship Tournament taking place in April, so be sure to start practicing now.
Since I am at work, I cannot confirm the existence of the new training videos on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, however I’m sure they will be available soon, if they aren’t at the moment.
I’ll be sure to update this post when the official website launches.
TheManRoom is giving away a free copy of Devil May Cry 4 for Xbox 360 or PS3. Simply visit this page and fill in the entry form. You can enter once per day until the contest ends on February 22 at 9:59pm PST. I know I’ll be entering every day.

The U.S. Army is sponsoring yet another Halo 3 Play & Win Sweepstakes. The Heavy Weapons Training begins now and with it we have been given a Heavy Weapons dashboard theme, some gamerpics and Halo 3 Heavy Weapons training videos all free on Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
There are two ways to register for the sweepstakes. First, you can visit this registration page on Xbox.com. Second, you can download a free Halo 3 gamerpic from Xbox LIVE Marketplace, which will automatically register you for the sweepstakes.
Once you have registered, entering the sweepstakes is easy. Simply play Halo 3 multiplayer on Xbox LIVE between February 9th and February 15th. Each day you play will snag you another entry.
Prizes include a bunch of Microsoft Points and one Grand Prize winner will receive a Limited Edition, framed piece of Halo 3 Artwork (left).
Check out all the details and rules at the link below.

Well, we had a pretty good response to our Forza Motorsport 2 giveaway with 48 total entries. Unfortunately, there can be only one winner. We had RANDOM.ORG generate a random number between 2 and 49 (my initial post doesn’t count, obviously) and the number that it rolled was 49!
So without further ado, the lucky winner of our first ever Xbox Overdose Giveaway is blurredimage (Gamertag: BlurredImage). Congratulations to BlurredImage. Please send a message over Xbox LIVE to the gamertag: xboxoverdosecom containing your shipping information and we’ll get your free copy of Forza Motorsport 2 sent out to you right away.
Thanks again to everyone who participated. This was the first Xbox Overdose Giveaway, but it won’t be the last. If you like Xbox Overdose be sure to tell your friends.

The guys over at Gamerscore Blog are giving away an Xbox 360 Console (signed by Incubus) to be given away. Make sense? No? OK, they’re holding a contest and the winning website will get an Xbox 360 Console. The winning website then gets to give that console away on their own website. A little more clear now? Great!
To enter, we need to submit a photo of someone giving the very best “I want to give away a console” face possible. We only have a week left to enter, so we need as much help as possible. Give us your best ideas or photos. We’ve setup a forum thread where you can post your suggestions and photos.
