They stated in their post this morning that they can “confirm that Microsoft has been researching alternative input technologies for the last two years.” Another interesting quote: “Particularly, Microsoft has looked at ways to improve the right analog stick input and you’ll hear more about those efforts soon.”

I wouldn’t imagine teamxbox would “confirm” this kind of thing unless they had some sort of confirmation themselves. I guess if they’re right, we should know sooner rather than later if this is all true.

Details are still pretty thin, so chalk this one up as a rumor for now. According to the report, motion control may be provided via add-on module, similar to the 3rd party add-ons that are currently in existence.
