After being defeated for the first time since it’s release, Halo 3 has bounced back to reclaim the #1 spot on Xbox LIVE. Major Nelson has posted the Xbox LIVE stats for last week, and it appears that Master Chief wasn’t about to stay at the #2 spot for long. It will be interesting to see if Call of Duty 4 simply had a lucky week or if it will fight back to regain the crown. What say you?

Over on Bungie.net, Bungie’s own Brian Jarrard (Ske7ch) has posted some tips and tricks for using Halo 3’s Forge with the new Foundry map. He details his thought processes throughout the creation of each of his custom maps and really shows the potential that lies within Bungie’s Forge tool. He gives some great insight if you plan on tinkering around in Forge yourself.

Over at CVG, they have posted the first ever multiplayer screenshots from Halo Wars. The screens look pretty impressive and I can’t help but get a little anxious to get my hands on this game. This is definitely one of the coolest titles to look forward to in 2008. One of the shots even has some sweet Red vs Blue action going on. Hit the link for all the screens.

Walmart.com is selling the Halo 3 Legendary Edition for $60. Free shipping if you choose the Site-to-Store shipping option. This is half-off the regular price and the same price as the regular edition. Perhaps it’s time to sell your regular copy on Craigslist and show everyone how hardcore you are by getting the Legendary Edition. Note: The Master Chief helmet will probably only fit a small cat.
